Children’s Mindfulness and Positivity Cards

Hi everyone!

With everything that’s happening in the world at the moment, children are understandably frightened by what they are seeing and hearing. The amount of time they’re away from their schools and school friends doesn’t help with their social skills or coping mechanisms.

Why not make things a bit of fun with my Children’s Mindfulness Cards? Instructions below – ALWAYS supervise young children when using sharp scissors & glue!

1) Print out the pages with the daily mindfulness affirmations.

2) Print out the back covers

3) Get some thin card or a breakfast cornflakes box and under your supervision, let your child cut out (or you cut out for them).

 4) Help them glue a page of four affirmations onto the card and wait for them to dry.

5) Get your pages of the back cover and cut them out (you will need a back cover for each quote/affirmation)

6) When dry, cut out (be careful) each affirmation.

7) Glue the back covers to each affirmation card.

8) Now you have a set of affirmation cards!

9) Place on table with affirmations face down.

10) Tell your child each morning that they can choose a card and remember the saying throughout the day.

11) Let your child pick one card and tell you what the card says and praise them for choosing a great affirmation. Tell them they can say the affirmation during the day as much as they want to.

12) Tell your children how much you love them.

13) Show them how much you love them and how positive and brilliant they are!
