About John Priest

John Priest - born in Netherton, West Midlands, UK, where the RMS Titanic’s anchor and chain were forged. John Priest is an experienced writer of children's books. He has been writing for children since the 80's, with several books self-published and others published by Traditional Educational Publishers in UK and USA. He has worked in schools in Additional Needs/Special needs Departments, has been a School Governor in Primary School and a teacher/trainer/assessor within Adult Education. He brings all of this experience and knowledge into his books, together with a good sprinkling of humour and fun.

John says, “I write for children because I enjoy seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter during school visits. I love listening to their knowledge and 'freshness' of their ideas about the world around them. I like to think I help nurture their creative thoughts and to show them they are capable of being anything they want to be, but first they have to learn and have FUN while they're learning! A new children's book has recently been published and received a fantastic 5 star review from Readersfavorite.com It's called, where's my Granny gone? Check it out for your children!”
